Another Trip to Pangkor Island

On 26th January, I have a 2 days trip to Pangkor Island with my dearest family. We started out journey early in the morning and it takes about 2 hours to reach Marina Island Jetty Complex. Normally, we went to Pangkor Island by ferry at Lumut Jetty but this time, we change to Marina Island Jetty Complex. This Marina Island Jetty Complex was opened on 22nd November 2009. It only takes 5 minutes to Pangkor Island (if from Lumut Jetty it will take about 20-25 minutes). The seaside view at Marina Island Jetty Complex was very nice and beautiful. Here are some pictures I able to catch at Marina Island Jetty Complex.

Nice??

We arrived at Pangkor Island at about 10.05 a.m. with a very happy mood because we can go to the beach earlier. However, we face a problem because all the taxi drivers quit from taking customers due to some issues. This causes us unable to put our luggage in our accommodation and our plan has to be cancelled because the beach was too far away from the jetty. We walked around the shops near the jetty and hope that the taxi drivers will start their service back to normal as soon as possible.

At around 12 p.m., taxi services were still unavailable, thus, we plan to have our lunch first. After lunch, taxi services were still unavailable; we saw a lot of visitors walking around at the shops with their luggage too. We seek for help at the owner of our accommodation for fetching us to the accommodation. I think that the owner was quite irresponsible because he asks us to walk to the accommodation. We refuse to do so because the area of accommodation was really very far away from the jetty and yet, we have to carry our luggage together. At last, the owner sending some helper and we able to reach our accommodation by motorcycle. It was the first time I went to Pangkor Island accommodation like this. Quite a great adventure, wakaka…We reached our accommodation at 3 p.m., we all were exhausted and have a short nap.
At 5.30 p.m., finally we can go to the beach. Woohoo!!! I had waited for this moment for a long time and I was really too excited for this. My daddy had bring along his dearest fishing rod and sure he gonna to use it right now. We saw a lot of people were swimming and playing in the sea. It is really a waste because I don’t know how to swim. However, we able to find other interesting activities on the beach - we all were enjoying by chasing and catching the little crab at the beach. I never saw this huge number of little crab before this but as I grow older, I not that brave enough to catch them with my raw hands, thus, I only able to catch one of them. Hehe… Besides that, we also catch the small fishes in the sea by using a broken fishing net that were left behind at the beach. I laugh like a stupid when we able to catch some fishes by using that broken fishing net. At dawn, we go back to our accommodation and have our BBQ session.
After enjoying the meals, we go for a walk back to the beach again. We saw some people were having BBQ on the beach and some people were fishing at there. My daddy didn’t bring along his fishing rods already because he unable to get any fishes in the afternoon. However, we get shocked because an 8 years old children, who was a beginner able to get 3 octopus and 1 squid by a newly bought fishing rod. We saw that the octopus changing colour from dark purple to white colour. At the end, the children released back the octopuses and squid back to the sea.
On the second day, we plan to see the sun rises but we unable to make it because unable to wake up early in the morning. At 8 a.m., we went back to the beach for our last play. We really have a great time at the beach there by enjoying catching crab and splashing water among our family members. My daddy get his first catch by fishing, it was a small octopus. We all was very happy and excited to see this cute little octopus. Here was some pictures of our acquisition...^^ Were they cute??

We back to Marina Island Jetty Complex at around 12 p.m., I will definitely miss Pangkor Island very much.

Secret Garden, Ipoh

Hi...Readers...I did not updated my blog since October 2012 because of heavy duty of assignments and test. Today, I would like to share a great place for dinner with you all - Secret Garden, which was situated in Ipoh, Perak. Last time, I was surprise to heard about Secret Garden was a great place for dinner because in my mind, Secret Garden (Hangul시크릿 가든Hanja秘密花園) is a 2010 South Korean television drama, starring Ha Ji-wonHyun BinYoon Sang-hyun,Kim Sa-rangLee Jong-suk and Yoo In-na. It was broadcasted on SBS from 13 November 2010 to 16 January 2011. It won a number of awards at both the 2010 SBS Drama Awards and the Baeksang Arts Awards in 2011.

The drama tells the story of Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji-won), a poor and humble stunt woman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses, and Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. To complicate matters further, a strange sequence of events results in them swapping bodies.
I think this drama will be sound familiar for those who like Korean Drama very much like me. Hehe...
Enough for the drama Part, now we back to the Secret Garden in Ipoh. I think less of us get to know about this great place. Actually, I get the chance for a dinner in Secret Garden, Ipoh for my youngest sister's birthday. It was really a very nice place and quite romantic too.
